Hi! My name is Lydia. I’ve spent the last 15 years telling stories with my camera, from wedding days to product launches to quiet afternoons at home.

My journey began in Atlanta, Georgia, where I worked as a second shooter for a documentary-style wedding photographer. Those early years taught me how to see the moments in between—the candid glances, the unscripted emotions, the details that often go unnoticed.

In 2013, my husband and I moved to Los Angeles, and I transitioned into commercial photography, collaborating with brands to create imagery that connects. Over the years, my work has ranged from photographing product launches and billboards to building visual campaigns that help companies share their stories with the world. While I love the creativity of that work, becoming a mother in 2019 changed my perspective in a profound way.

When I was pregnant with my second child in 2023, I wanted photos that felt honest—real glimpses into our everyday life as a growing family. Those images became some of my most meaningful keepsakes and sparked a realization: the small, ordinary moments are the ones that matter most.

In the summer of 2024, I launched a new project dedicated to documenting these moments for other families {and so "THE YEARS" was born!}. My background in documentary wedding photography taught me how to anticipate and capture genuine connection, and motherhood has deepened that instinct even further. Whether it’s a messy breakfast, a quiet snuggle, or a burst of laughter, I’m there to preserve it—just as it is.
