Our Story
My journey began in Atlanta, Georgia, as a second shooter for a documentary-style wedding photographer. Those early years taught me to see the moments in between — the candid glances, the unscripted emotions, the details that often go unnoticed. In 2013, my husband and I moved to Los Angeles, and I transitioned into commercial photography, creating product launches, billboards, and campaigns that help brands share their stories. While I love the creativity of that work, becoming a mother in 2019 changed my perspective in a profound way.
The spark
When I was pregnant with my second child in 2023, I wanted photos that felt honest — real glimpses into our everyday life as a growing family. Those images became some of my most meaningful keepsakes and showed me that the small, ordinary moments are the ones that matter most.
The Years
In the summer of 2024, I launched The Years to document these moments for other families. Documentary wedding work taught me to anticipate genuine connection, and motherhood has deepened that instinct. Whether it’s a messy breakfast, a quiet snuggle, or a burst of laughter, I’m there to preserve it — just as it is.
